The reality is that I prefer to teach classes in-person than I do online because there is so much of what I do that depends on my personality and energy as a teacher. However, having conducted these classes since 2015, I did not want to give up teaching students in Singapore, not to mention that I have built relationships with the students that I have been nurturing and would not consider leaving them, especially if they wanted to conduct classes. Using what I have learnt as part of my engagement with the Global Online Academy (GOA), I am adopting a similar system of providing classes for my creative writing students. This is what engagement with The Young Writer's Table encompasses:

1. 2-hour online Zoom sessions

2. Access to a dedicated Slack Platform

3. Access to Google Drive materials which include readings, worksheets, creative writing notes, a phrase bank and other resources.

4. Charting of your child's progress to identify areas where your child needs help; developing a lesson plan to help work on the areas that will help your child.

5. Access to Creative Writing Loom videos.

I conduct my classes at the following times, due to the time difference between Singapore and Luxembourg.

Saturdays and Sundays:

0900 -- 1100

1100 -- 1300

1300 -- 1500
